Ian Somerhalder & Nikki Reed Launch The Absorption Company Supplement Line

We recently had the pleasure of attending the launch of The Absorption Company, the latest wellness line launched by celebrity couple Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed and partners.
The event was held at Remedy Place, a West Hollywood hot spot for wellness services run by celebrity doctor, Dr. Jonathan Leary.
The brand features a powdered supplement line launching with four unique products- Restore, Energy, Calm and Sleep- each curated to aide in their named activity! The team behind the brand includes Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed, Zeke Bronfman, and Nate Medow.
Guests of the event were treated to a complimentary service at Remedy Place with options including cold plunge, cryotherapy, hyperbaric chamber or lymphatic draining. Post- service attendees could pick up a tasty mocktail featuring the brand’s supplement lines and learn about the ingredients and research that went into creating the line.
Also on site, Dr. Keiko Hamano from Remedy Place offered guests complimentary 24K gold ear seeds, an acupuncture practice offered at the social wellness hub. We happily tried the ear seeds and cryotherapy which left us feeling balanced and refreshed. We left the event with a gift bag of all four products and have since been trying each one. The calm and sleep have been great for stress and relaxation and the restore and energy have helped us feel powered up for our busy week!

Travis Kelce is kicking off his Hollywood career.
The Kansas City Chiefs player—who has been dating Taylor Swift since last year—has landed in his first major TV role, joining the cast of Ryan Murphy‘s upcoming FX series Grotesquerie.
His costar Niecy Nash confirmed the news in a behind-the-scenes video with Travis on May 7. “This is what happens when WINNERS link up‼️” the Dahmer actress wrote on Instagram. “@killatrav Welcome to Grostequerie!”
The Super Bowl champ appeared beside her in a white shirt and a big smile on his face, revealing that he’s “jumping into new territory.”
In addition to Niecy and Travis, the horror show will also star Courtney B. Vance and Lesley Manville, according to Deadline. While details of the plot are under wraps, fans can expect some bone-chilling content, as the series comes from the creator of American Horror Story.
While Travis’ only prior acting experience was a surprise cameo on an episode of Moonbase 8 in 2020, the 34-year-old has already proven his super stardom, recently signing a $34.25 million contract with the Chiefs and thus becoming the highest paid tight end in the NFL.

On May 6, the British model, 31, revealed that she is expecting at the fashion bash at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The Gurls Talk founder cradled her bare bump as she made her way out of The Carlyle Hotel and was all smiles when she arrived at the Met’s iconic steps.
The dress code for the fashion extravaganza this year is “The Garden of Time,” meeting the Costume Institute’s spring exhibit, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and Aboah embraced the energy. The model wore a red two-piece set from H&M featuring a capelet in red silk organza with petal-like tulle ruffles over a bralette embroidered with rhinestones, paired with a bubble-hem skirt in coordinating red silk taffeta.
The mom-to-be swept her hair back into a high ballerina bun with a middle part and completed the look with scarlet red heels and a matching clutch.

Aboah made her Met Gala debut in 2017 and debuted her baby bump at her fifth Met Ball. She most recently attended the Costume Institute Gala in May 2022 (where the theme was “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”) and there she wore a pale pink polka-dot gown with Swiss dot sleeves and train of the same shade by Tory Burch.
The 2024 Met Gala theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” celebrates the upcoming Costume Institute exhibition, which will highlight around 250 items spanning over 400 years of fashion history. The display runs from May 10 to Sept. 2 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Andrew Bolton, the Wendy Yu curator in charge of the Costume Institute, said the display will focus on three main “zones” — Land, Sea and Sky — paying homage to the natural world.
“It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” Bolton told .
