African History
Blacks Britannica: Diversity in Medieval and Early Modern England
Africans have been present in England for more than two thousand years, but we rarely see them or hear about them. And often their existence is dismissed as a figment of ‘political correctness’ or ‘wokism.’
This lecture will critically assess the myth of England’s story as a ‘sacred white space’ and examine the evidence for diversity in medieval and early modern history. Africans are integral to English history and forgetting this diminishes Englishness, by preventing us from understanding ourselves.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.

A question typically posed by so-called whites when crimes during colonialism are brought up is an all too familiar rebuttal.
What about the infrastructure developed by colonizers?
This touches upon a key aspect of pride for colonial nations and their populations. They point to the roads, railways, and buildings they established, saying, “Look at what we provided for you.”
However, it’s important to recognize that Africa was home to highly organized cities long before the European slave trade began. The remnants of our historical architectural achievements stand as a rebuttal to the condescending remarks of those who yearn for the days of colonization.

Why all of a sudden are these people ccming here telling or trying to tell us about history. He needs to go to his ancestral home and teach his own people there own history..I find it hilarious he has the gall to preach all this,who does he think he is. He is jealous that his race isn’t the one he belongs too,,I am surprised he hasn’t rolled of a string of supposed inventions his race have added to the world.Whether we have other types of ancestry,it makes not a bit of difference.It’s the narrative that prevails today we in the European sphere. are of Anglo Saxon and white. 😊

interessting but still some following problems. Maybe lazy scholarship… Barberie isn't that french for barbarian, which the roman called every non roman "culture". "Saxons" are were people from northen west germany (i was born in the area.) The main slav workforce come from today "slavic" called countries and that wasn't africa untill later, from what i read (Lazy scholarship from the woke community?). The spanish, french, italien coast were often conquered my north african tribes untill the romans started their conquest, later then "Hannibal" a north african generall / warlord invaded most southern europe to invade rome. Nothing new for me most of it I learned when I had internet… What I still wonder is what was the "ratio" of "african decendents" to "european" (its a bit bonkers because it was stated we all are african decendants) to now? that script looks like a from the Ottoman invasion.

200AD, not 2000 years ago, it's a quite huge difference. Rome was the reason people of colour came to northern Europe. People of non-colour was as much enslaved as people of colour in Europe, that is a fact. We are all of African descent when it all comes around.

People seem to think that somehow the moment you walk across a tectonic plate, you become a different ethnicity/"race", and that continents are somehow barriers that kept races separate until europeans united the world lol. its hard to consider a planet outside of the prism of modern european imperialism. categorizations and erasures of ppl gorups to support the "white mans burden" , his "manifest destiny" and his evolutionary and eugenic advantage has seeped into the global zeitgeist and caused a severe distortion of reality.

Five minutes in and there’s already a glaring error. “Britain did not exist until 1707,” yes it did. Britain is an island and has existed for millennia. I believe he is trying to refer to United Kingdom, which is a political entity that did not exist until 1707. The map is quite clearly a map of Britain, if somewhat antiquated.

What about that time, in 2020 upon the Centennial of Women winning the right to vote in 1920, Trump boasted and took sole credit for being the first President to commemorate that! When he signed the Women's Suffereage Centennial Commemorative Act, he condemned so-called "do-nothing Democrats" and said: "They've been working on this for years and years, and I'm wondering why this wasn't done a long time ago, and also, well, I guess the answer to that, is now I'M the President, and now we get things done!" How about Joe Rogan explaining that one away since the answer to why no other President commemorated that Centennial before, is because a 100-year anniversary frpn 1920 to 2020 only can only come once. Obviously,Trump did not know that.

Very disingenuous. Trying to infer that the Normans were a different group to the English is spurious – they, like most western Europeans, were of the same genetic materials. Like all parts of the world they dividend themselves by socio cultural and linguistic factors but all are native Europeans and share huge commonalities e.g. dress, social codes and physical appearance. It's a bit like saying Ugandans and Kenyans are different because there is a border between them and they have variety in their socio linguistic patters – they are genetically African regardless and continue to share a great commonality. What is for sure is that Europeans share far more in common with each other than they do with Africans – just as Africans share much more in cpmmon with each other than they do with Europeans. This is just more H.E. BS (though eloquently presented) attempting to rob of us our history, thereby making the replacement easier to complete.

This has been debunked via DNA evidence. Sub Saharan contribution to Europe has been miniscule since people migrated out of Africa 60-70 kya. That's not to say Sub Saharans never went there, they just weren't there in noticeable numbers.
