African ethnic groups made independent conquests outside of Africa, invading what is today modern day Yemen. African ethnic groups also participated in the Muslim invasions of Spain and Africans participated in the crusades.

And naturally, African ethnic groups and nations have waged war within Africa, just like different peoples have done the same all across the world.

    Do your research properly.

They are definitely mutiples factors to this from societal to geographical. Firstly you have the sahara witch sort of trapped africans below it, the lack of big waterways inside the continent also caused boat technology to be pretty bare bone in most areas so travel was harder especially for armies. The biggest and most developed kingdom in africa were the coastal ones and they are also those who conquered their neighbors the most. Africa had a few kingdoms and alot of tribes so you had alot less full scaled wars bc tribes didn't wanna figth unless forced and weren't a treat to any of the kingdoms. Ethiopia was only conquered by the muslim caliphate bc they were the only neighbors strong enough to do so. Boats technology are a big part of colonisation bc you have to reliably get there, my normand accestors managed to take over england, normandy, sicily and Jerusalem bc they had boats to get them there without em they woulda been stuck in norway 😂 when my accestors pulled up with full on ship against kayaks in the saint laurent the same applies, it would even applies to the Iroquois Confederacy and their tactics using kayaks. All of the biggest empires of the world had good Navy's so im guessing being landlocked didn't help africa with colonisation. Regarless africa is beautiful why would anyone want to leave it 😂

Africa never invaded anywhere because “Africa” as we know it today was created less In the early 20th century. The continent had kingdoms. Benin kingdom (very great) go to the London museum they have all our stuff, Mali kingdom, the moors literally civilized Europe. And of course Kemet who was the source of the enlightenment and educated the Greeks. If we used the original names I believe people would understand history better. A lot of these new names are European and have been put in place to further erase our story from The great south to the night of Biafra. We didn’t encase because we were the educators the teachers. The blueprint.

There was nothing the world had to offer for Africa 🤷🏾‍♂️
They just didn't envy nor desire to fight over other peoples for resources. It's a basic barbaric and selfish primitive mindset, it's fuelled by innate inferiority complex that manifests itself as delusional thoughts of superiority based on mere genetics, which no human can be responsible for…
Africans felt enough as themselves and accepted others as they were…

    January 15, 2024 at 6:00 pm

First off the reason Africans never invaded outside of Africa is because of geographical separation and distance from others, and another is due to lack of consolidation due to the vast quantity of peoples and ethnicities, btw I am 🇩🇿🇬🇭 I am not hating on Africa it's just fact , taking from others is apart of human nature

You explained that we actually did invade several lands in your opening paragraph. The Moors ruled the world. The Kemetians ruled the world. The Kartites ruled a good portion of the world. The blackmail was a tax imposed on nations to take their best females if they couldn't pay the tax. We are no different from the others, just seemingly take longer to organise.

Because Africans were highly spiritual, they know their God,He answerers when ever they call or cried unto Him, Africa was a land flowing with milk and honey,we were strong and doing exploits, they knew that the only way to get us was through our God, which got us where we are today, only our God can save us,Ami.

They would've if they could, the moors were known for conquering a lot of territory within Africa and extending into Europe conquering most of Spain but usually repelled when the crusaders counterattacked. Carthage even though is of Phoenician origin, was technically an African state, and when they tried to take Rome, they were defeated.

Riches…But Africans loved their gods.. for God was more
Favorable then $$$..with out some money factor..u can't rule others when u're unfair' inconsiderate' and no innovations..
Even today they're still greedy as the pigs they are

Because sub-Saharan Indigenous cultures didn't emphasize the Judaic-Christian-Islamic POV that man was meant to "have domination" over nature and over his envxironment…. Very similar to the perspective of the Indian, the Pacific Islander, the Australian Native, the Siberian Native, etc. i.e. cultures which did not emphasize the concept of "man's domination over the natural world" which is a concept emphasized in the Jewish/Christian/Islamic cultures.

  32. @jonnyneace8928

    February 8, 2024 at 4:14 am

So realistically the Judaic-Christian-Islamic perspective needs to take a beating from the African and Indigenous perspectives, I'm afraid, coming from a syncretist…

The history of the East African Empire in the 5th century Controlling the South arabian peninsula at the time the arab nomadic tribes were continously in nonstop wars, and the kingdom of the Africans sending A king to rule the arab nomad tribes as the maad confederation under the kinda kingdom to to bring law and order and stability to the chaos of the whole central and northern arabia is a great addition to this info, the arab bedouin tribes in the confederation represent every single tribe found at this current time without exception, the choas of the time was to the degree that the chiefs of the bedouins wanted to be saved from possible extinction and probably initiated contact willingly submitting to rulership, the situation already being a concern for the Empire it successfully brought law and order and to the bedouin life and existence upto the coming of islam leaving them with the zabur miniscule script ,this event is either buried or forged to look like an arab to arab interaction for very obvious reasons, it wasn't a coincidence when Islam's prophet sent his followers to The Axumite Kingdom he knew that history

If all human life originated in Africa, then Africa is the ideal place for humans to live in. We were built to live there. Europe and Asia were basically islands full of storms and floods, meaning that they had to develop.

  40. @BillHitchcock-vn5zw

    February 24, 2024 at 2:17 pm

Because they couldn't. To this day not a single one of them has left Africa by the devices of their own species, its always through the aid and volition of a superior group.

I'm not sure, but I believe that our refusal to conquer other nations was motivated by African principles. African spirituality and the continent's notion of unity and community may have prevented Africans from trying to conquer the rest of the world. If you were to argue that Europe invaded Africa because the continent has resources, it would provide a justification for the invasion and make it seem necessary for them to continue since they lack resources. If it was only about conquering, I could understand, but they went above and beyond that.

AFRICANS VISITED AMERICA 2000 YEARS BEFORE COLUMBUS , 11 UNDENIABLE PROOFS ; Black History.

Published

on

11 Reasons Tp Prove That Africans Were in America 2000 years Before Colombus.
Let me take you on a journey through some of these fascinating pieces of evidence of African presence in America 2000 years before Columbus. Take them with a grain of salt if you have to, but I think they are worth some consideration.
1. Olmec Heads: The colossal stone heads created by the Olmec civilization in present-day Mexico, which date back to 1500 BCE to 400 BCE, feature distinctly African facial features. These heads feature facial features such as broad noses, full lips, and round faces that clearly resemble those of Africans more than the indigenous populations of the Americas. Tell me this is not a black man right there. The detailed and realistic nature of the Olmec heads suggests they were based on real individuals. It is no wonder not surprising that some researchers contend that these features indicate an African presence in pre-Columbian America.

2. African Artifacts in the Americas: Artifacts such as cotton from Africa and tobacco pipes found in pre-Columbian sites in South America have led some to speculate about transatlantic contact. In addition, metal artefacts with similar metallurgical techniques to those used in West Africa have been found in pre-Columbian American sites.

3
Before the next point kindly give us a like. I know to you it’s a simple click, but to us it means a lot.
3. Botanical Evidence: Certain plants like the bottle gourd and the sweet potato are thought to have originated in Africa and Asia but were present in pre-Columbian America, suggesting possible ancient transoceanic contact.

4. Linguistic Evidence: Some linguists claim to have found similarities between certain Native American languages and African languages. Some proponents argue that there are similarities between ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and symbols found in Mesoamerican writing systems, such as those of the Maya. The Mandinka word “makala,” meaning “rice,” is compared to the similar-sounding words in some Native American languages.

Dr. Clyde Winters points to shared vocabulary and phonetic similarities, such as the word “yu” in Mandinka meaning “to give” and a similar-sounding word in the Olmec language with the same meaning.
Leo Wiener, in his early 20th-century work “Africa and the Discovery of America,” cited examples such as the Wolof word “tem” (to cut) and its similarity to the Algonquian word “temagun” (an axe).

5. THOR HEYERDAHL’S RAFT EXPERIMENTS: The Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl demonstrated with his expeditions (Kon-Tiki and Ra) that it was possible to travel across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans using ancient boat-building techniques, suggesting that such voyages could have occurred in ancient times.

6. Ancient Maps: Some historical maps, such as the Piri Reis map, allegedly show parts of the American continent with a level of detail suggesting pre-Columbian exploration, potentially by African or other non-European civilizations.

7. Skull Analysis: Studies of certain skeletal remains, such as the Luzia Woman found in Brazil, have shown features that some anthropologists argue resemble those of African or Australoid populations rather than Native American populations.

8. Accounts from Early European Explorers: Some early European explorers, such as Vasco Núñez de Balboa, reported encountering dark-skinned peoples in the Americas upon their arrival.

9. Cultural Similarities: Some researchers point to cultural parallels between African and American civilizations, such as pyramid building, similar religious practices, and iconography, as potential evidence of contact.

10. Presence of Black peoples in Asia, Australia and the Pacific. If Black people can be found in as far as the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia many Islands in the Pacific, why can’t they be found in the Americas? I mean it makes no sense for the Americas to be the exception right?

11. Genetic Studies: While controversial and not universally accepted, some genetic studies have indicated the presence of haplogroups in Native American populations that are also found in African populations, suggesting ancient intermingling.
