Wherever human beings are, there is society and wherever is society, there is a form of civilisation. Therefore, it is not healthy to say that before this and that we Africans and we Africa brought civilisation to others. We shouldn’t forget that it was similar perception of things that has led to the tragical pages of history. We shouldn’t be having the same perception.

It should be obvious by now that they were only speaking on their history to their people. That history was never meant for the rest of us to take as fact. Our forefather(black fathers), once born in the US and stripped of identity simple how no knowledge to offer their own people. Its always been about knowing who you are and making that information know, first to your people then to the world. We've been force fed european history and nothing else.

Yes the Africans were romans …you know the greatest Caucasian civilization ever.

    And Columbo was a Roman.

Some crackpot socialist anti-Christian anti-caucasian racist paid phoney professor/ journalist & their over inflated beliefs.

Teutonic Norsemen / celtic religious/ Roman Empire persons all have archeological proof ……

So a few sub Saharan MAY possibly came also…

    Soooo what , big deal….

Only the Caucasian Roman/ Europeans set up a civilization that worked & welded that CONTINIOUS CIVILIZATION into a whole culture/ territory.

The others left ZERO of any continuous or meaningful.

Africans travelled round the earth like other groups. However, they were not interested in looting or colonizing people they met. They were interested in trading, learning , including slave trade. It is good that we set the history right. Christopher Columbus was looking for a place for settlement and that is why to his people, he discovered a olace for possible settlement and exploitation. To the people living there, he was a visitor.

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

on

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
