Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough Set To Host Oscars Red Carpet Pre-Show

Vanessa Hudgens and Julianne Hough are hitting the red carpet for this year’s Oscars’ pre-show.

This marks Vanessa Hudgens hosting the pre-show for ABC, for the third year in a row! Julianne Hough will be joining the actress for the first time as part of ABC’s red carpet coverage of the Oscars. The 30-minute special will highlight nominees, performers and presenters and give viewers a multiview experience of red carpet arrivals at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

In addition to ABC’s annual pre-show the network’s ABC News will also air special coverage with a live Oscars pre-show, Countdown to Oscars: On the Red Carpet Live!, airing from 1:00-4:00 p.m. EDT/10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. PDT. The pre-show coverage will also stream on ABC News Live until the start of the Oscars ceremony. ABC News anchor and World News Tonight weekend anchor Linsey Davis and Good Morning Americaweekend co-anchor and World News Tonight weekend anchor Whit Johnson will host live from the red carpet.

On Monday morning after the Oscars broadcast, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos will present Live with Kelly and Mark from the Dolby Theatre, which will feature Sebastian Maniscalco, Elaith Welteroth, Jesse Palmer and a musical performance from Andy Grammer.

The 96th Oscars airs on March 10, at 6:30 p.m. EDT/3:30 p.m. PDT on ABC.This year’s awards will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
