▶ In this video I talk about the breakaway & unrecognized state of Ambazonia, located in South / Southern Cameroon (although in the North-West of the country). This is an area that is populated by many Anglophone people, a consequence of British colonization since the territory became a colony of Great Britain after being taken from Germany due to its defeat in World War 1. While the rest of Cameroon, also taken from Germany, was then occupied and ruled as a colony of France, therefore developing a Francophone culture. Its cultural differences and the apparent dominance of Francophones over the country’s institutions, led to reduced autonomy and a declaration of independence by Ambazonians, although so far unsuccessfuly. This African territory is not yet a country per se, but it might achieve that status one day.

Ambazonia shall be independent because the have no Union Treaty with La Republique du Cameroun. The two had independence following different UN Restrictions and on different dates. No Union Treaty as required by Article 102 of the UN charter, No Unity The two countries cannot be one. They must part ways.

Afrika's cosmovision states that the geographic south is Afrika's north and vice-versa. I've been seeing some afrikan scholars talking about it on social media. Maybe that have to do with High and Low Egypt, but I'm not sure.

Your article is running after the facts. It needs a serious update.
The different factions have xollapsed and there is one governing group remaining.
Nine of the 13 states have been liberated, by an now well armed and trained army.
When Biya declared war, the anglophones had no army at all.
Right now the colonial administrative organization are under atta k, to be replaced by anglophones to take over de running of the country. Long live Ambazonia.

Sir, you report is very accurate. I am from the described land. The population is suffering enormously. The repressive and assimilative forces from Cameroun keep on burning villages and towns, burning people live in their houses, killing indiscriminately men, women, old mothers, pregnant women, children and youths of the land. I wish to state here that this war declared by the byoa régime of Cameroun and France is provoked by the United Nation which didn't assume its responsibility of providing a third Option " AUTONOMY" at the referendum. Secondly Britain passively abandoned the land at the mercy of France which coveted its fuel and natural resources. France and it's Cameroun have been exploiting everything Only for themselves in total ignorance of the natives Again France had been ruling the two countries single handedly through its appointees in Cameroun for more than 60 years today, which contrary to the clause of TWO EQUAL STATES OF EQUAL RIGHTS. Ahijo ruled for 25 years with no British Southern Cameroonian ruling once and Byoa had been there now for more than 40 years, still the same thing. Every time France manufactured election over rushing results and they are read by people with hands tied for fear of being killed. Now, France has prepared take over from Father to Son in all its colonies. Frank Byoa is already the unquestioning Successor to Byoa Paul. Soutien Cameroons Should be freeform that mess under a name Federal Republic of Ambazonia. This will stop France and all its allies to stop be confounding the two nation to be one which is French République du Cameroun which everybody know to had existed before 1960. I have ample positive ideas to contribute towards a peaceful Ambazonia and Cameroun future life.

We the English speaking Cameroonians, have already divorce corrupt French Cameroun politicians and their master France. We are now Ambazonia ❤ . And they will kill us all before they take back our Land. Its a shame that Britain who took over us From Germany after their defeat in the first world war. But still showed no interest to the plight of our people. And refused to Administer us as an independent colony. Divided us to British Northern Cameroon and joined with the Northern part of Nigeria and British southern Cameroon and Joined us with Eastern Nigeria. *the Igbos showed my people real "shage" repressed and maltreated us took all important positions in our own territory and more… if interested read the History of British Cameroon.

When the African continent started receiving independence, same Britain refused to give us our full and total independence which was asked for in the third option which was removed in the so called plebiscite. Thus chose between Ocean and the deep blue sea🤦🏿‍♂️

Britain still shared us took British Northern Cameroon joined with Northern Nigeria and we the British southern Cameroon joined with Evil Republic of Cameroun. *Because the British or Britain refused us the third option our total freedom.

*Its important to note that our forefathers refuse to vote to join Nigeria because of the pure wickedness and evil the Igbos treated our people not because we actually wanted to be with the French but still because French Cameroun looked like better option then. But 60 years and counting my people still suffer repression and still need to attain their independence.

Since the crisis in our region, fight for liberation of our Land by French Cameroun soldiers, Britain is still yet to take any bold steps as our former colonial Masters to oppose the French or even come to our aid on the international stage, they do nothing and have done nothing in favor of my people.

    Question
*When do Britain plan to start listening to the cry of our people
*when Will Ambazonia become total free and enjoy really freedom and democracy

But one thing is clear even if we don't enjoy the freedom we want today we will keep fighting and our children and grandchildren will enjoy their Fatherland someday.

    Much love from Germany❤
    God Bless Ambazonia.🙏

While the UN only recognizes around 190 or so countries, I have compiled a list of 285 countries. I only found out about Ambazonia a couple days ago. While some of the countries on my list may not in fact be countries in any sense of the word, I will tell you I was appalled by what happened in Nagorno-Karabakh just a couple months ago. I think it is fair to say that Nagorno-Karabakh was a legitimate country and within days was just expunged.
It is my belief that bodies that have a legitimate argument for sovereignty should be allowed to make their own destinies. I believe that smaller countries make for better countries. The primary reason for this is that a country with a larger population cannot provide for its population as adequately as a country with a smaller population. Also, smaller nations tend to be more homogenous, which can result in more internal harmony.

THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF AMBAZONIA FLAG DISPLAYED, ACKNOWLEDGED, RECOGNIZED, AND CELEBRATED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

THE MESSAGE IS CLEAR: THE FLAG OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF AMBAZONIA HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED, RECOGNISED, DISPLAYED AND CELEBRATED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD BY TV5MONDE. THE RECOGNITION OF THE AMBAZONIA FLAG IS CELEBRATED ALOVER THE WORLD TODAY. CONGRATULATIONS TOTHE REPUBLIC OF AMBAZONIA! Biya can continue to chew the cord of arrogance, aggression and brutality, and betrayal in disgust for invading, occupying and plundering the African Country of Ambazonia – Southern Cameroons that got her Independence on October 1, 1961. AMBAZONIA IS NOT part of biya’s la republique du cameroun that had her own independence on January 1, 1960 and has never sadly celebrated it. THE FLAG OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF AMBAZONIA IS FLYING HIGH TODAY FOR THE WORLD TO ACKNOWLEDGE, RECOGNIZE, CELEBRATE AND SEAT HER AMONG THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD BODY AT THE UNITED NATIONS. THE FLAG OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF AMBAZONIA IS BLUE WITH WHITE STRIPS. We are inviting all nations of goodwill to support Ambazonia rebuild her stolen nation invaded, occupied and plundered by la Republique du cameroun for over 60 years, black on black colonization of Africans by Africans. Ambazonia is not part of la republique du cameroun. La Republique du cameroun and Ambazonia have International Boundaries and never signed any union treaty to be considered as a single country. THE UN MUST SIT UP AND STEP IN IMMEDIATELY TO IMMEDIATELY RIGHT THIS HORRIBLE WRONG ON THE SOVEREIGN PEOPLE OF THE REPUBLIC OF AMBAZONIA NOW WHOSE NATIONAL CAPITAL IS BUEA.

Cameroon is getting better. Youths are traveling aboard not to wash plates anymore, but to embark on literature and film projects. It is only getting better. They send money back home and even your Amba boys are joining the program both from the bushes and from jail. I know more about this than you think. I myself went last year when the curriculum was a British novel called Angel of Death by Jack Higgins. They change it every year. Last year it was with Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. We need peace.

You don't have a country unless it is recognized and controls borders, has a government, again is recognized and can defend itself and therefore control its destiny.

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

on

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
