Hey best Living in Ghana! I'm in Tanzania, to be exact it is Arusha and I'm having a great time. I'm totally blind and the people treat me so nice. . This community of our brothers and sisters is so supportive unlike in America where i have faced so much prejudice and discrimination among black Americans. I already got two marriage proposals, smiling and happy! More than I ever got in the US. We need to wake up and listen to Dr. Ronoko which I have attended one of his online lectures over a month ago. He has a wealth of info about melanated people around the world. We have to understand we are the people of Asar and Aset. We also need Ma'at in our live to right the wrong and restore our empires. I will be home on the 18 and I hate to leave. Please I tell all of you, come to Tanzania or another African country to experience the people, culture, food and you will fall in love. Don't come with no expectations or you will set yourself up for disappointment because Africa is not like the West. Have an open mind and enjoy. You don't have to know any of the language because they will still embrace you. the people are so loving and stop believing the West about how the people are here. Keep up the great work!

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

on

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
