“Invisible Roots” focuses on Afro-Mexicans (not to be confused with “Blaxicans”) living in Southern California.

While there have been numerous documentaries on the African presence in Mexico, little in way of research exists on Afro-Mexicans who have immigrated to the United States, largely to Southern California, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. “Invisible Roots” works to encapsulate the Afro-Mexican perspective into a Southern California context.

We welcome everyone to this page: Black, Mexican, Afro-Latinos, Whites, Hebrew Israelites, everyone and welcome all opinions, but what you are not going to do here is leave racial slurs and disrespect another race. Comments with racial slurs and blatant racial intolerances will be removed. Our video is meant to bring people together, question the standard, challenge the standard and share new insights. Please respect this space and us as filmmakers. Thank you.

It's amazing how different countries in the Americas don't accept each other. Jamiaca the say out of many (meaning different races and cultures, African, English, Chineese, Irish, Scottish, syrian and whatever else is there) one people) British Caribbean seems different in it's multi ethnic acceptance to those countries with Lighter ethnicities.

The ancient Egyptians recorded the Tamahu, which means created white people.
Egyptian writings also refer to whites as Typhonians or People of Seth, both meaning “the devils.” After these “white devils” were first released into the
Black community of the Near East about 6000 years ago, they caused sever
strife, so the Africans rounded them up, stripped them of everything, and
exiled them to the caves and hills of the Caucasus Mountains, and this explains the sudden appearance of white people in that area. Africans installed a series of guarded walls blocking all exits along that area from one sea to the other to prevent them from escaping. These walls
have been witnessed and recorded by many European writers including Pliny.

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

on

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
