We can’t start studying our history in SLAVERY. Even when we study the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, which is important to study, we can’t start in 1619 or in the 1440s when the Portuguese get involved. We have to understand the history chronologically and deal with the 800 year occupation of Europe by the Africans known as the Moors who enter into the Iberian Peninsula, today known as Spain and Portugal, from North Africa in 711A.D. This course not only deals with the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade but thousands of years of history that leads up to the Slave Trade of African people taking place.

Aug. 20th, 2019 marked the 400th year Anniversary of the “20 and odd Africans” who came into Point Comfort on Aug. 20th, 1619 in what would later be called the colony of Virginia. This year was known as “The Year Of Return” as many African Americans are reconnecting to Africa and traveling to Ghana and other West African countries. When we discuss the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade we have to first understand that African people are the Original people of North, Central & South America & have been in the land we call U.S. at least 51,700 years.

Did you know there is a cryptocurrency developed specifically for the indigenous natives of Africa? It's called Ibilecoin and developed by Nigeria native Akin Soyoye. You should research it.

You guys have to let that African title and the out of Africa theory go. There were no Africans in America. The first Americans were the Americans described as negro.

We continue to push the idea that negros only belonged to africa. That is a lie

Black people who have no connection to Africa inhabited Europe and America first.

There were no Africans in the Americas before Columbus. There is not a
shred of evidence that says there were. People should start accepting
    reality.

Good god! The overwhelming cultural (tools, etc) and genetic evidence shows that most native Americans derive from a Eurasian/ Siberian migration. Ancient Egyptians were a unique cultural and ethnic group that no longer exists. Black Africans (as did Europeans) briefly conquered their northern Egyptian neighbors, and there was extensive cultural exchange at the Nubian Egyptian border. But the Egyptians spoke an Afro-Asiatic language and was a unique group. Lol stop appropriating, Africans don't need to steal Egypt to have a proud history.

Big Michael Imhotep and Mr. David imhotep, thank y'all for this information, people like you got me researching alot, but it began in the white-face, deceitful, bible of Christianity, which is a compilation of books, tells there existence Adam and Eve, 7000-8,000 years a complete turn off after a turn of reading and knowing what I was reading from the beginning with understanding without someone telling me to read what is deception of programming of blackness reduction and addition to whiteness loss of self.

It'll be interesting if you do go on the breakfast club, or barbershop with Lebron but most definitely you and Dr. Phil Valentine–the black one and the other brother, Anthony browder, along with Tariq Nasheed might need separate shows

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
