History Summarized: South Africa

Published

on

In the past few centuries, few corners of the African Continent were quite as busy as the south. It’s a winding river from the first migrations and waves of colonists in the Cape Colonies to the Rainbow Nation we know today, so let’s dive in and see how it all played out!

— Lastly, looking to modern times, it’s important to recognize how the COVID crisis has exacerbated massive preexisting disparities between healthcare for Black and minority communities and that of white Americans. It’s not enough to just acknowledge history, we all have a responsibility to understand modern problems and work on solutions. Pretty bad history lesson. Nelson Mandela was a terrorist.

"He later pleaded guilty in court to acts of public violence, and behind bars sanctioned more, including the 1983 Church St car bomb that killed 19 people.

Mandela even suggested cutting off the noses of blacks deemed collaborators. His then wife Winnie advocated "necklacing" instead – a burning tyre around the neck."

Apartheid was horrible. I was surprised to see the video completely breeze how Nelson Mandela founded the Speer of the Nation. Of the bombs Speer of the Nation set. And the tire necklaces they used to kill people.

So not much ‘history’ was recorded pre 1600s when the Europeans first arrived??

    Interesting,

    1000s of years = zero

Nothing happened pre 1600s European arrival?

The Europeans destroyed South African history?

Why is it everywhere they went in the world, death and evil came with them?

This is not South African history, its typical Eurocentric, boercentric whitewashed propaganda, younmade everything about boers in Africa a continent belonging to Africans not afrikaaners.. Our history doesn't start when boers arrived. There's no such thing as "Bantu " it is not a ethnic group or racial group, it's a linguistic interrelationships between ethnic groups which are genetically and culturally unique from each other just because i speak English doesn't make me Britsh.

So the gold and diamonds where there for millions of years, just waiting to be found by whoever noticed it, but feelings. Can you imagine the brutality if the Zulu would have noticed two hundred years earlier.

As an Indian South African I'm annoyed we never got mentioned lol. But for how short this video was you did a great job. I also appreciate how you mentioned the parallels between South African and American history. It's something I've personally found fascinating!

Look into an update for this video. Look into the B.E.E policies of the ANC. Racial discrimination back, but this time controlled by the ANC.

A pity, South Africa is an awesome country and now the leaders are so corrupt, many entrepreneurs have left, and so much unemployment, that leads to crime. Very high murder rates. Very sad, so far , the Boers, the British and now the Blacks can’t seem to get the leadership right. Perhaps we need a black Trump.

Why seperated xosâs from zulus… xosâs are still zulus…The sad reality is the term xosâ is not a Tribe…even Shaka Zulu was called a xosâ by the Khoikhoi & Kwê Indegenous people…All the Bantu groups were called xosâs, due to their different aggressive behaviour….

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

on

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

African Written Scripts Unearthed: Beyond Egypt's Hieroglyphs

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
