How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History
Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

African Written Scripts Unearthed: Beyond Egypt's Hieroglyphs
The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.

Thanks for making this film. My friend's father was Peter Garlake and I had gone out there to hopefully work for him, but it didn't happen unfortunately. Got to Masvingo, Nalatale and Matopos caves and many other places. I heard the hum of the earth for the first time in Domboshava. I absolutely love Zimbabwe. My heart is still there I believe.

Those enclosure structures could very well be, and I believe each of them to be part of the store house complex, built under the supervision of Yoseph the son of Yacob/Yasharel or Israel, when he was made governer of all Mitzraim/Egypt before the enslavment of his people after his death, by the pharoah who did not know him..

Europeans came here long before 1800's, the Portuguese in 1488, the Dutch started settling in what became Cape Town on 6 April 1653. British settlers came in 1820.

The narrator blithely claims Magellan as the first circumnavigator. Likely, that claim is just another piece of European misinformation. Evidence of the presence of Africans in all parts of the world prior to the advent of Magellan should dispel that idea. OLMEC STATUES found in several places in South America and in Cambodia and many other sites, and other African cultural artifacts predating Magellan.
Sorry this makes Europeans not so indispensable.

While it's hard for most 'westerners' to understand there isn't just one "African religion". Far from it. whatever we were or weren't taught Africa is a B.I.G. place with many many faiths. For instance it's a popular misconception that Christianity is the white man's religion, one used to dominate the black man. All the while the Ethiopian Christian community is one of the og & older than any in Europe. That's just one among a literal plethora
I say all this as a query….if one is a practitioner of the "african religion", what exactly is his faith? Perpetuation of misinformation happens in all sorts of ways
Just a thought
