Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.

Love and respect Dr van Sertima. One of my favourite Egyptologists and African Historian of all time. I always question the, "we are all African narrative. How come the African generations till today remain African and are not evolving in terms of appearance into something new . It's been 100,000 of years. I believe other races "Caucasian" are a result of interbreeding either with Neanderthal or/and Mongol . I do believe that other races as well such as Indians, middle East, Etc are products of interbreeding with Africans. Yes we are uniquely African

I just like to comment. This was de bunked in 2020 finally. They had enough confirmed DNA evidence of ancient Olmec remains, native living genetics tracing and heritage connections to said old remains.
Whats shocking was they even called this loon out by name just to smear his life's work of crap all over his dead grave. Olmec DNA is conclusively Amerindian Native Americans, no connection at all with Sub-Saharan black Africans.
If anything we have more genetically in common with other Asians or even Caucasian Europeans than we do with Sub-Saharan Africans. The sheer stupidity and waste of time to anyone that gave this cultural crook their time let alone their money is disgusting.
You broken people are all descendants of black slaves brought over on European ships 600-200 years ago. Yes we get it that sucked and wherever you go this is always weighted on you knowing you didn't get here voluntarily.
But thats as far as I go for feeling any pity or remorse for you. Where do you get off belittling or stealing my people's achievements and culture? We find it offensive that our past has any connections with black slaves, we're not immigrants like you but indigenous here.
