Africans In Early Europe Dr Ivan Van Sertima

Published

on

This documentary is based on the study of the African in world civilization, in particular his little known contributions to the advancement of Eurpe. A major essay on the evolution of the Caucasoid discusses recent scientific discoveries of the African fatherhood of man and the shift towards albinism (dropping of pigmentation) by the Grimaldi African during an ice age (the Wurm Interstadial) in Europe. The debt owed to African and Arab Moors for certain inventions usually credited to the Renaissance is discussed, as well as the much earlier Afro-Egyptian influence on Greek science and philosophy. The book is divided into six parts: The First Europeans: African Presence in the Ancient Mediterranean Isles and Mainland Greece; Africans in the European Religious Hierarchy (madonnas, saints and popes); African Presence in Western Europe; African Presence in Northern Europe; African Presence in Eastern Europe.

I have been a great admirer of the late brother Ivan van Sertima. He inspired me to also focus on this history of the African people and their historical presence in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. However, I thought that some anthropologists and paleoanthropologists have pointed out that most of the different pigmentation colors and facial morphologies of people inhabiting the world today developed in Africa before the early human beings migrated out of Africa to inhabit all the continents and islands of the world. For example, the morphological feature of slanted eyes of many Asian groups is also found in Africa among the Khoisan and other groups that have not lived outside Africa. Those of you who are more knowledgeable in these areas of study can inform us about this issue. Morphology

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
