@FfuckS or you're a North African Berber, in which case you're probably generationally mixed race… the only thing that would cause you to claim otherwise is racist ideology that won't allow you to accept that you have black ancestors… come on man, whats up with all the hate… you've allowed the white world to pollute your mind, ain't no one trying to steal your history, the moors depicted themselves as black, have you seen the almoravids coat of arms? Why is that such an insult to you.

It is funny that even know white people still claim the moors were not black you have european colonists and decendants of slaves in north africa calling themselves berbers which they are not. Or some turk in arabia calling himself an arab which he is not both arabs and berbers were black

Great post! Its interesting that these medieval artist accurately depicted the Black royalty but failed to accurately depict Mary and her son Jesus…both of which were without question, non-white. Mary was, like Jesus's earthly father, of the seed of David, who fathered Solomon, who is described in the Bible as "Black but comely(handsome)" Song of Solomon 1:5 The Bible clearly describes Jesus & His Father as Black or dark skinned: Daniel 10:6, Rev.1:15…Not the Caucasian in these pics.

Adoration of the Magi at :34. Twelfth century? You mean the 1100's? I have never seen a 12th century image that looked so much like a 17th or 18th century one. Check out painting in the 1100's and try and find faces like that. I'll bet the date is way way off..

  13. @chukwuemeka23456

    July 4, 2011 at 3:42 am

@GundisalusMenendiz Regardless, the artworks are MOORISH, NOT DA VINCI!!! Da Vinci painted the BABY JESUS AS "WHITE" (European white), NOT SO-CALLED MIDDLE EASTERN!!!!! When they painted JESUS, the painted Jesus, BASED on the PEOPLE IN THEIR "AREA" AT THE TIME!!! 😉

  14. @chukwuemeka23456

    July 4, 2011 at 11:22 pm

@GundisalusMenendiz European, North Africans, and West Asians are considered WHITE, but they are DISTINCT from each other!!! When I said that Da Vinci painted Jesus like the EUROPEAN WHITES, I was saying that he painted Jesus, like the WHITE PEOPLE of EUROPE, NOT the SO-CALLED MIDDLE EASTERNS (West Asians)!!!! The Moorish artwork (because it was painted by the MOORS) PAINTED the ARTWORKS IN "LIKENESS" of the PEOPLE IN THAT AREA, AT THAT TIME!!! 😉

  15. @chukwuemeka23456

    July 4, 2011 at 11:31 pm

@GundisalusMenendiz And I don't know about the Ethiopians painting Jesus as "white" and "blacks" as the "devil"; that sound some RACIST stuff a EUROCENTRIST WOULD SAY!!!! 😉 But the Ethiopians painted Jesus as a SO-CALLED MIDDLE EASTERN (West Asian)…if THAT'S what you mean by WHITE!!! But the Spanish ALSO painted the MOTHER MARY AS "BLACK", SO I DON'T KNOW, LOL!!! 😉

  16. @chukwuemeka23456

    July 4, 2011 at 11:56 pm

@GundisalusMenendiz and yes, I WATCHED your stupid video!!! O.O RACIST!!!

  17. @chukwuemeka23456

    July 5, 2011 at 10:41 am

@GundisalusMenendiz Okay, RACIST, I WASN'T, I repeat WASN'T REFERING TO THE FREAKING VIDEO WHEN I CALLED YOU A "FREAKING RACIST"!!! I was REFERING to YOU IN GENERAL(sorry about that misconception, lol)!!!! 😉 WHY??!!! BECAUSE OF YOU'RE FREAKING VIDEOS!!! 😉 I've LOOKED at YOU'RE VIDEO'S and you BELITTLE the AFRICAN HERITAGE, EVERY TIME I LOOK UP!!!! 😉 YES, there were BLACK MOORS…whether or not they were a minority/majority, that's a different story!!!! "BLACKS" ARE/WERE…

  18. @chukwuemeka23456

    July 5, 2011 at 10:42 am

@GundisalusMenendiz INDIGENOUS to NORTH AFRICA!!! AND "BLACK" AFRICA had HISTORY!!! 😉

  19. @chukwuemeka23456

    July 5, 2011 at 11:35 am

@GundisalusMenendiz …WHAT PART OF THAT COULD YOU "NOT" COMPREHEND??!!!!

  22. @chukwuemeka23456

    July 6, 2011 at 6:21 am

@GundisalusMenendiz You DIDN'T LISTEN to SH*T I SAID!!!! I SAID THAT: THE WEST AND EAST AFRICANS… NOT BANTU'S…I "REPEAT"…"NOT BANTU'S" have the GENETIC MARKERS of the FIRST HUMANS!!!! 😉 Or AT LEAST IMPLIED THAT WHEN I TOLD YOU TO LOOK UP THE "GENETIC" MARKERS OF THE "WEST" AND "EAST" AFRICAN… "NOT BANTU"…meaning the NON BANTU (or BANTOID tribes) OF "WEST" AND "EAST" AFRICA!!!!! O.O

  23. @chukwuemeka23456

    July 6, 2011 at 6:22 am

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

on

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
