Songhai was in invaded in 1591 by the Moroccans. That is why Songhai fell. Civil war in the empire weakened the empire but it was the invasion from Morocco that caused the empire to fall. John Henrik Clarke and other scholars discussed this invasion a lot.

I completely disagree with you there is no African civilization that magnificent and grandeur than ancient kemet, why are the Europeans claiming it to be European, it's because of its sophistication scientically politically and militarily.

What?? We know exactly where punt was now? Wait you just said it’s Sudan , and now we don’t know. What ???

  15. @emanuallapardon2050

Thank you for mention that punt is an ancient Somali empire . west and other African are trying to take our history when we have so much similarities with our civilisation. The name punt is giving by ancient Egyptian and the real name of the punt civilisation was buun in Somali becoming "horn" and Egyptian called punt because of they couldn't say buun " and even punt in ancient Egyptian means horn and they meant punt "the tip of the horn" So the real name of punt was buun civilisation and ancient Egyptian influenced the puntites that's why they changed the name into punt . the evidence is that during the ramses ii, the punt had a different form of government and wasn't so meaningful to ancient Egyptian, but after the reign of Hatshepsut the name was changed and become more like Pharaoh's and the influenced spread into puntities and thats where the land become more meaningful and they called the gods land "ta netjer" which means in somali where we belonged.

one more powerful civilisation you didn't mention was the macrobia kingdom .In the classical era, the Macrobians, who were Puntites established a powerful tribal kingdom that ruled large parts of modern Somalia. They were reputed for their longevity and wealth, and were said to be the "tallest and handsomest of all men". The Macrobians were warrior herders and seafarers. The macrobian were the second dynasty of punt civilisation but Egypt at that time was conquered by the cambyses ii of the persian king. one of the notable fact is that during the Cambyses ii rule in Egypt, he sent a later to macrobian kingdom to bring under his rule, because punt civilisation was important to ancient Egyptian and they didn't let any empire conquered it because the puntites were such prosperous people and rich with a lot of important things that ancient pharaoh couldn't avoid so the cambyses ii order a military attack to macrobian which clears that the macrobian were the second puntites and were wanted land. But the macrobian were the great powers at that time arose in the Africa and powerful kingdom according to heroduts who visited macrobian in the 5th century BCE. But Cambyses ii couldn't reach the macrobia and scared of the ruler of macrobia who sent a later to Cambyses to thank god that macrobia didn't want to invade their empire. The Cambyses ii sent an apology gifts to macrobians and there started the first somali Persian trade. The Cambyses ii enjoyed the trade coming from the macrobia and the cambyses valued the macrobian resources and the macrobian become a known empire because of the trade of the cambyses which even attracted the indian and southern arabian kingdoms to trade the macrobian, like the sarapion city port of macrobian kingdom which dominated the power of the indian ocean trade in the second century BC. Your historical content about AXUM EMPIRE is not correct. The Empire is actually started from the Nubia upper Egypt and the Red sea region of Eritrea. When Kemet invaded the Empire started to extend its power to South and modern day Ethiopia, Yemen and Saudi-arabia. Axum Empire is not modern day Ethiopia which is created between 1899-1910. You are mixing up the history of ancient Ethiopia which is present day Nubia with the modern one . Modern day Ethiopia didnt even exist during that time.

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

on

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
