   No offense but the part about the Magyars is somewhat misleading…it didn't take centuries for them to form the state of Magyarország (Hungary).

   By the end of the 9th Century The Honfoglalás was completed. The Hungarian Tribal Confederation of 7 tribes including the 3 dissident Kavar tribes united under Álmos (Nagyfejedelem) during sometime ca. 880s and after 888 most likely by 890 they were is search for a new home collectively they migrated in mass to the Carpathian Basin under the leadership of Álmos' son Árpád and ended up creating the new Nation of Hungary by 896-900 CE.

   The Magyars are mentioned in the early chronicles as being employed as mercenaries as early as the 860s.

   The Magyars, understood well what had happened to their kinsmen the Avars, by Charlemagne and they took the precautionary measures so as not to end up the same way.

    So much of that world was defined by trade and blurry borders. I hope CK3 will get more of both. No trade mechanics does not make justice to that world of 867.

    4:51 irony is that northern Cyprus was control by Muslims and southern by Christians to still this day it is I mean at that time Arabs vs Greeks at now Turks vs Greeks in Cyprus.Volg Bulgaria was also a Islamic kingdom who were rivals of khazar Khanate they adopt Islam in 910 AD and Islamization of Turks happened between 700 to 750 after this majority of them were Muslims after 950 AD they replaced Arabs totally as a Islamic powers . Abbasid caliphate losing war against byzentines empire who started to conquer territories of caliphate but Turkic nomads came like Seljuks who started the decline of byzentine empire again and eventually fall after forth crusade

    Caliphate of cordoba in the western Mediterranean and byzentine empire in the eastern Mediterranean were one of the powerful Mediterranean powers of that time I guess .These two states have huge navy and most pirates also work for these states .
