The Kurds did not get a state, the Armenians were massacred and the Christians were ruled from their lands in Asia Minor, and the Turks continue to control the straits which are the oxygen pipe to all the Black Sea countries, the Turks are invading the Aegean Sea

To remind everyone, the Turks invaded Asia Minor, West Asia from the Caspian Sea area, they are not originally from Asia Minor, Turkey had to be broken up after the First World War into smaller countries, so did Iraq and Syria, and so there was peace in the Middle East that no small principality had enough power to threaten its neighbor

There were Jews in the Land of Israel all the time, it's not that the British suddenly came and the Jews came, in fact during the Mandate period there was more Arab immigration than Jewish and a white book was issued against the Jews in the world that limited their return to their country

In fact the mandate did not fulfill its purpose, the ones who were robbed are the Jews who once took Jordan from them and later Judea and Samaria Arabs who invaded the region

The Jews are a 3000 year old people most of whom were forced to live outside their country by the nations that conquered their country,

But there was an IMPORTANT MOTIVE at work by the British and French in drawing the maps and dividing up areas of “ownership “ and responsibility not mentioned in this documentary. They purposefully drew lines that created incongruous countries that would be internally fractured and thus weak so that they, the British and French, could more easily control these peoples and steal from them. The British in particular were determined to maintain their empire and control oil at any cost to the varied peoples of the ME. And sadly American contributed to this horrible injustice by intervening in WW1 on the side of the British and French such that the British and French could do their worst. Lastly, Britain and France had no legitimate right to win WW1 but they brutalized Germany nonetheless at Versailles thus setting the stage for the second half of WW1 which we call WW2.

Postmodernism and Its Impact, Explained.

Helen Pluckrose outlines some of the arguments later explored in depth in her bestselling 2020 book, Cynical Theories (co-authored with James Lindsay). The essay charts the pernicious influence of postmodernist thinking on two generations of academics and activists. If you want to understand how we got to a place where microaggressions are denounced as violence but the brutal terrorism of an intifada is considered righteous, this is an important primer.

Iona Italia reads Helen Pluckrose’s essay published in Quillette: https://quillette.com/2024/05/07/how-french-intellectuals-ruined-the-west-foucault-lyotard-derrida/
