Between the years 950 AD to 1290 AD, on the Northern border of South Africa, traversing the conference of the Shashi – Limpopo Valley, which today divides Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa, existed an ancient African Kingdom, called Mapungubwe. From the Iron Age to present day this unique one-hour film explores the history and tells the story of this remarkable city.

Governed from an impenetrable hilltop, Mapungubwe became the business centre for all of Africa’s trade which, by this period, had become well integrated into the world economy and thrived on trade with the East Indian Trade Route attracting traders from as far afield as Persia, Arabia, India and China.

Mapungubwe was inhabited by successive groups of people for this 300 year period until it was mysteriously evacuated. No one knows for sure why, but in 1290 Mapungubwes’ inhabitants left taking with them the memories and stories of Mapungubwes’ early history. In this film archaeologists and historians take us on a journey through a thousand years of untold African history revealing the controversial discovery of this ancient site and its golden artifacts.

Forgive me if you mentioned it.. steel manufacture, in which a high amount of carbon is combined with iron, for making sharp blades predated European production by a long time

The lies of our ancestors is horrible. Is there not any truth that has ever been told? I wouldn't be surprised if even our own modern religions were an entire lie. Oh, there is a God, and Jesus did live but is there any truth beyond just that? It is amazing just how Un-Christian the so called Christians that supposedly were our leaders were so willing to lie…. so willing to destroy the history of another people. Just how long have "they been planning Globalism… decades, a century, a thousand years?… or Two or more? How many lies and liars have ruled over humanity?

The natural dignity, and strength of the Black people is phenomenonal.

It is surprising an archeology program should not know that not only jesus is a myth, but that christ is not a name, but a title.

Massive Network of European Underground Tunnels – ROBERT SEPEHRhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72M5lyIpsBU
12,000-year-old underground caves and tunnels with networks from Scotland to Turkey. These are recently more confirmed as late as 1998, perhaps covered up before then. Even though some blacks think whites are covering up African history, whites in the past may have been covering up white history. I am multiracial and offering this viewpoint.

Islamic seafarers could not have sought trade before the birth of Christ because Islam was founded approximately 600 AD.

  25. @jamesdolan4042

    February 27, 2023 at 1:03 pm

A point of interest. Islamic traders did not exist before the birth of Christ. Islam began in the 7th century CE. However it would correct to say seafaring traders came from Persia, or Babylon, or Egypt, or Mesopotamia, or Summaria, or the Levant, or Greece, or the kingdoms of ancient India.

Zimbabwe ruins was not built by the Shonas if you look at the evidence in North Africa the lost tribes of Isreal built an exact structure like Zimbabwe ruins .The Lemba tribe built Zimbabwe ruins which we have tied up with DNA.

Mapungubwe is an extansion of the Great Zimbabwe ruins. This is for a fact that we can not turn away from. The narative of the presenter is totally wrong.

They is a vast number of such ruins distributed in the countries exactly the same.

This was under the central point of the bakaranga people one of their recgnised dialects is the kalanga people who stretch far from central Zimbabwe up as the north east of Botswana.
Examining the Shona dialects and the today kalanga includind venda language thus when you see the great similarities.
    Look into
    1. Great Zimbabe (Masvingo Zimbabwe)
    2. Mapengubwe (Musina South Africa
    3. Kami ruins (Bulawayo Zimbabwe)
    4. And long negleted ruins in the hwange game reserves towards the boarder to botswana Hwange Game Reserve Zimbabwe)
    5. In botswana the same ruins are found in the middle of a bush also negleted. (North east of Francis town Botswana)
    6. ruins can also be found in zimbabwe north of bulawayo can be accessed easly from the city gweru towards a far right bush domineted by the ndebele people. (about 200kms frm Gweru Zimbabwe)

I right this with great sincierity for i have seen this live with my eyes. This is a kingdom that is now perverted and not told by the owners of their history.
This is called the Fotress of stones or house of stones.
The Vhalemba people thus is it.

  34. @MochaQueen5

    November 10, 2023 at 5:49 pm

Atlantis, Sumeria, Israel, Kemet all African! Archaeologists aren't interested in the truth, they are just interested in stealing because all these societies they knew were African and eventually they took all the information and came out and made a lies and said it was their Kingdoms and their societies and not African. They only ever had one goal in mind and that goal was to steal Africa from Africans. They never allow us to tell our own stories there are many African anthropologists that come from these tribes but they won't use them because harder to lie. On old maps of Africa there were castles everywhere and canals. They never show it and they never talk about it. European archaeologists are not interested in telling the truth. They are interested in how they can manipulate it.

Postmodernism and Its Impact, Explained.

Published

Helen Pluckrose outlines some of the arguments later explored in depth in her bestselling 2020 book, Cynical Theories (co-authored with James Lindsay). The essay charts the pernicious influence of postmodernist thinking on two generations of academics and activists. If you want to understand how we got to a place where microaggressions are denounced as violence but the brutal terrorism of an intifada is considered righteous, this is an important primer.

Iona Italia reads Helen Pluckrose’s essay published in Quillette: https://quillette.com/2024/05/07/how-french-intellectuals-ruined-the-west-foucault-lyotard-derrida/
