Stop talking about it,because you promoting it by so doing,i believe that all countries have laws that guide human behaviour, that enough. And to this point that we must stop calling one onother with characteristics, that obvious for a reasonable person it totally wrong,i am a south african and all my fellows citizens of different races ,call me a south african if you lack to call me my name. This racism benefits no one at this age and time, unless we pushing hate for our growing children who live, school and grow together and have no where to run to ,we must accept our past act of mixing different races as our responsibility to build a better life for all.Take my word with Sir Morgan Freeman otherwise the world have no future

Is it just me or the wise people wont exist anymore after next few decades

  7. @Adreal357

    February 25, 2024 at 3:08 am

Clearly none of y’all listened to the rest of what he said and we wouldn’t need any ethnic month if our accomplishments were embedded into the curriculum and highlighted. That goes for women and other minorities as well, but y’all not ready to have that conversation

  8. @Adreal357

    February 25, 2024 at 3:09 am

It’s not lost on me that a majority of whyte ppl love this small part of what he said.

    February 26, 2024 at 6:47 pm

That’s Unk preaching. Morgan Freeman is from Memphis I live there I’m white it’s a 90% black city the blackest city in America I live in the black community I see everybody is equal just like him we’re all just Americans if we continue to follow the media that is controlled by the government we will continue fighting against each other we have to stand together, as brothers and sisters or the government will control us unlike our forefathers wanted.

  11. @JaydenIronBlade

    February 26, 2024 at 10:26 pm

This is true. I only see colour when it is mentioned. When someone says something to one of my black friends I’m like “huh, yeah I forgot he was black” and then just forget afterwards.

  12. @MrLathor

    February 27, 2024 at 1:02 am

Morgan is a man of character and intellect, being pandered too is pathetic to somebody like that.

  13. @stephenholmes1036

    February 27, 2024 at 11:26 am

    Correct

  14. @WingsOfHeartFailures

    February 27, 2024 at 9:51 pm

    jews aren’t white

  15. @superiorjr154

    February 27, 2024 at 11:52 pm

As a white man, I don’t think we need a Black History Month either. I think we focused too much on racism in this country rather than actually asking black Americans what they think about it. To end Racism stop talking about it don’t bring too much attention to it.

  16. @KPKeepItReal

    February 28, 2024 at 3:08 am

Amazing I wish all black folks thought like this💕 I would loveeee nothing more than to stop talking about it let's forget it and create a better world instead.

  17. @katharinamichnik9439

    February 28, 2024 at 3:55 am

    Now THAT makes sense!!!!

  18. @SoupBone-bp1qk

    February 29, 2024 at 5:29 pm

May is Jewish American heritage month.

  19. @SoupBone-bp1qk

    February 29, 2024 at 5:34 pm

😂 You all are definitely majority American commentators! Your ignorance of your own history is showing. There is a reason for Black History Month. If you don't like its existence blame your ancestors for its necessity.

  20. @SoupBone-bp1qk

    February 29, 2024 at 5:42 pm

😂😂😂…this is rich! Stop talking about it and problem solved, huh?
Maybe cancer and diabetes can be cured the same way.
Maybe we can fix poverty that way too….just by not talking about it! Who woulda thunk it!

    how to stop racism
Morgan freeman: "stop talking about it." "I'm going to stop calling you a white man and I'm going to ask you to stop calling me a black man. I'm Morgan freeman and you are….."

  23. @ckk1640

    March 14, 2024 at 2:47 am

    Facts

  24. @tasha3939

    March 14, 2024 at 6:55 pm

So in other words if there is no black history month, there shouldn’t be Asian heritage month, Hispanic heritage month etc…black people aren’t the only people being discriminated against it’s Asians, Hispanics, indigenous people, etc…black history celebrates black people and their achievements and how they paved a way for black people in America because black people did play a role in America! One example is the civil rights movement rights we have as black people…do you know how racist it is to tell someone they can’t participate in something because of the color of their skin? People act like we chose this skin color we didn’t God did he created us the way he wanted us to be and you know he got a point the only way to get rid of racism is to stop talking about…we talked about it way too much and it got us nowhere.

  25. @user-pj8vd1br3g

    March 17, 2024 at 3:28 pm

Exactly. Stop talking about it. Nobody really cares

  26. @waxdoe115

    March 17, 2024 at 9:43 pm

What lady are you talking about? The one with the black hair! They all have black hair. The one with the brown eyes. There's alot with brown eyes. I don't wanna talk about it.

  27. @katrinamaniscalco6821

    March 21, 2024 at 10:23 pm

    Class act

  28. @r.suryan

    March 24, 2024 at 3:05 am

This is too deep to understand, even by some president 😊😊

  29. @prison_david

    March 24, 2024 at 4:20 pm

How can you stop talking about a problem if it still exists?

  30. @martiano13bros

    March 29, 2024 at 5:10 pm

Ill just always remember the Morgan Freeman quote where when asked how to get rid of rascism

    "Stop talking about it"

  31. @19rode75

    April 2, 2024 at 10:46 am

Morgan Freeman is spot on, he asked the question (regardless of race) "which month is white history month" he wasnt interested in what ethnicity this guy was, he was proving a point. White or jewish, theres no such month

  32. @samanthasmith8301

    April 2, 2024 at 8:21 pm

    This man is my hero

  33. @jefferyboat7428

    April 3, 2024 at 5:28 am

Basically stop stereotyping…..look at each other as humans not colors.

Don't know if that will ever happen, but at least it has gotten better to some degree.

  34. @user-kv1rz6hy8l

    April 5, 2024 at 1:23 am

    much respect God.

  35. @Playoffrondo

    April 5, 2024 at 1:59 pm

Which month is white history month?

    “I’m Jewish”……

  36. @soyfacekilla

    April 8, 2024 at 8:42 am

It’s beyond recognizing a month anymore, way past that. Now it’s compelled bootlicking, and being told you should hate yourself. Also let the looting continue, all the target employees are too busy bending the knee they can’t chase you even if they want to. At this point, 10 years of this shit, my knee is starting to extend

  37. @Cabinet445

    April 9, 2024 at 7:40 am

"Hey you remember the trauma you suffered when you were a kid that you're trying to move on from? let's talk about it!"

  38. @rolandtennin892

    April 9, 2024 at 2:56 pm

Here is a European man asking a brother how to get rid of racism !!

  39. @rolandtennin892

    April 9, 2024 at 3:13 pm

He didn't like the ideal of being called white man because he is Jewish but it's ok for Jews to label us as Blacks !!!

  40. @rolandtennin892

    April 9, 2024 at 3:18 pm

He thinks having black history months is going to stop racism !

  41. @ef7558

    April 10, 2024 at 12:34 am

The problem is you'll get these criminals and BLM that constantly bring up the past. I had nothing to do with slavery in the 1800s so why the hell should I be forced to apologize for something I had nothing to do with

  42. @Bigotsandwich1995

    April 10, 2024 at 7:20 am

How do we get the wound to heal?
    Stop picking at it

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

on

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
