I am Mexican and I am demanding my govertment to morally and humanistically treat these people. We are the founders of this continent, we know the U.S and their policies … We must fight together to tackle this global crisis.

Why don't strong young men stay in their own countries and build their own countries. That's right..they are traveling on small fortunes.

Build that wall for the sake of the survival of the USA. We can't take in every one who wants to live on welfare of the USA and once they are here, they will be the ones who block traffic and stick their middle fingers to our police officers.

Their economic migrants. They are no longer in danger in Ecuador, Columbia, or Mexico international law says you can ask for political asylum in the first country you no longer are in danger. Says nothing about shopping for a country where you get the best deal.

Postmodernism and Its Impact, Explained.

Helen Pluckrose outlines some of the arguments later explored in depth in her bestselling 2020 book, Cynical Theories (co-authored with James Lindsay). The essay charts the pernicious influence of postmodernist thinking on two generations of academics and activists. If you want to understand how we got to a place where microaggressions are denounced as violence but the brutal terrorism of an intifada is considered righteous, this is an important primer.

Iona Italia reads Helen Pluckrose’s essay published in Quillette: https://quillette.com/2024/05/07/how-french-intellectuals-ruined-the-west-foucault-lyotard-derrida/
