The Islamic conquest of North Africa effectively prevented communication and travel between Africans and Europeans. The European voyages of exploration were mostly about finding a way around this blockade. The crusades were also about trying to establish connections and trade that had been blocked by the Islamic conquests. The Ottoman Turks controlled the Mediterranean and prevented non-Islamic trade links.

Everyone, hear me out ! After watching this video, what say you some of us make a Manga about these African Explorers/Diplomats in Europe ? Including the Ethiopian Christians as cool characters. I think if the story is written well, could have more potential than Yasuke especially if the art style is regal and elegant itself. What say you guys ?

The Abyssinian king helped prophet Mohamed by accepting the first Islam followers who escape from rulers of Arabia. May be that is why those Abyssinians pass through any Muslim country without trouble.

No, them pictures of African kings Wasn’t European inspired, or influenced. It was quite the opposite, Africans ruled the world for so long, that half of world history already passed before Africans started civilizing Europeans. What u see in these falsified paintings are Europeans inserting themselves into a people history because they have none. So stop it!

There's no holy land on that side of the world and India was Hindustan at that time also almost all kings were copper colored at that time but not necessarily African smh. If you do videos on history, you shouldn't tell stories you learned in school, you should use true prominent figures such as historians, explorer's, soldiers or certain authors from that era diaries or letters smh. It's conjecture to claim that All people with dárk skin were African smh, especially when most of Europe besides england hand dark skin, way before that and a long time after that. I'm pretty sure you saw Benjamin Franklin s letter describing the complexion ofmost people living at that time from the Americas to Germany

    Wtf …

    I just had a sudden brainwave…

Is this why Ethiopia was such a heavy target of donations and the like back in the day… because they were Christian !?

It all makes sense now !

spanish didnt just mention seeing blacks, they specifically mentioned mosques, separately from indigenous temples. And if there were anyone in europe that knew what mosques look like, it'd be them. It actually explains the wealth mansa musa came to have.

There are maps of africa before 1900 that shows the real Jerusalem is in south west africa. Nazareth and other places from the bible. Even the russians orthodox church show Jesus as black and since the 1900 the european power have manufactured history so we wouldnt know the truth.. he is comming again soon

I have a theory; some of the people that migrated from Africa to the rest of the world must’ve went up north across, or perhaps, passed the Mediterranean Sea.

Or, if you want to learn about Ethiopia, you can follow Ethiopian vlogger here on Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b18VslDB4o
who are living their best life, instead of Googling nonsense and get traumatized in the process…
Same thing when you want to learn about…let's say people shape-shifting instead of basing your knowledge on accounts from colonial historians who are going to give you a distorting vision of things, maybe you can just ask to people here in youtube, and if you're not too crazy, they'll tell you how to use MPEVE or NSIKUMUSU and your tour kinkoko to shapeshift… that's not hard for those who know about the "holographic" nature of the world, and people from Katiopa (endonym for Africa) have been doing this for ever.

An ambassador is not an explorer. The reason you cannot find African explorers is because there are only a handful.

You saying when Africans discovered Europe validates Europe’s claims of land discovery.

It’s weird was this written by a white person? I don’t think anyone not white would write that.

How Africa Shaped Our Christmas Celebrations: Discover the Hidden History

Published

on

Interestingly, many Christians, particularly Black Christians, are often unaware of the true origins of the December global celebration. Previously, the celebration was variably scheduled in January, March, April, May, or September, reflecting uncertainty about the actual birthdate of Jesus.
The holidays we observe today have their roots in sacred days from ancient Kemetic or what is popularly known as Egyptian culture, where these occasions were timed with celestial events such as the alignment of stars, constellations, and the sun’s position relative to Earth.

The colonial education narrative has consistently taught, and still teaches, Africans that their ancestors relied solely on oral traditions to transmit knowledge and memory. Sadly, Africans in the so-called West, Central, East, and Southern African regions are unaware of writing systems in these parts of Africa.
