If blacks didn't have so many abortions there would be a lot more holidays for them

I think that history teachers should be made to do at least one black person a week that would be five percent more than there are people total today. I can't think of more than ten total we were taught about in all of school history. We never made it past WWII in our history class.

My grandpa met his first black person when he was drafted during the last few years of WWII he was in charge of planes in California.

After WWII he moved back to the country in Illinois and he told me he only met maybe ten "negroes" the rest of his life. We had none in our county in Wisconsin growing up except one family in one school and another in the next town. Both of them white women who had lived in Chicago and knocked up and moved back home. Both of them at least had been married

What about the atrocities that happened to the native Americans there is no history on us but Abraham Lincoln was the one who put the bounties on native Americans and almost got rid of all of us but we’re still here what about that that’s not in the history books .

I used to think this guy was great, but I've seen him exposed when challenged on a podcast. Most of his ideas come off as great and they are if you don't dive into how he was able to turn racists. It was learned he didn't stop the hate. He used a psychological trick to make the racists hate themselves. I'm not saying racism is good because it's not. He is praised though for quelling tension and he didn't. If you know anything about psychology, you know that turning hate and anger inward is arguably more dangerous and makes people more likely to snap. His methods were bad in how he did his work.

Garrett Morgan received a patent for the design of another type of three-way traffic light in 1923.
But The first system of traffic signals was installed as a way to replace police officer control of vehicular traffic outside the Houses of Parliament in London on 9 December 1868 by Railway Engineer JP White.
Are we just gonna start lying now?

Every single time I watch a Joe Rogan clip on YouTube (which happens a lot) I'm reminded of the bullshit Spotify canceling attempt. I'm naturally liberal minded but hate cancel culture. I believe you turn an idiots microphone up when they're spewing nonsense and let them out themselves as fools. Joe Rogan doesn't fall in this camp. The man knows how to ask the questions we want asked, actually listen to the answer and follow up to keep his guest giving us their thoughts. The fact that he may have controversial guests on that have ideas and beliefs that I don't believe or am ignorant of is the EXACT reason I'm interested! It's not all a left/right thing because the right cancels it's share of things it doesn't agree with. It seems to be a modern human thing. We're softer than we've ever been as a people, intellectually and emotionally. Tuning out information that doesn't make you feel warm and fuzzy is intellectual suicide. Trying to cancel it from reaching other people's brains is intellectual murder! Thank you Joe

Thank you sir this is so true I’m white i grew up in a school completely black maybe ten percent white and other ethnicities and I agree the amount they try to push the victims agenda on kids

MLK doesn’t have a national holiday all to himself, really. In some states, they celebrate Robert E Lee day instead of MLK Day, and in some states, it’s called Robert E Lee/MLK Day. It’s technically not a national holiday at all.

    Seriously look it up.

Also, MLK Day only started in 1987. Older people already know that, but being born after 1987, I had no idea until I read about it. I assumed the holiday existed since shortly after he was murdered.

It is literally segregation in the education system. It’s apparently okay though because it’s supposed to be good for black people. The same argument people used to use for segregation.

I agree with most of this. But I don't agree with the whole "Columbus discovered nothing" argument. I think it's being pedantic. We often might say "a child discovers the world" or "I discovered this TV show today". We don't talk about an absolute discovery for all mankind. We talk about discoveries for individuals or groups. The vikings discovered America for themselves, but not for Europe. Columbus discovered America for Europe. And at the same time, the natives discovered Europe.

If a child is playing with a battery and some magnets and makes a wire rotate around the battery, they discovered that. Yeah, they aren't the first person to discover electromagnetism or simple motors, but they did discover it for themselves. They didn't know about it, and then they found it without outside reference to prior discoveries.

Someone can discover this video for the first time (even if they aren't the first person to watch it). That's just how we use the word. So yes, Columbus did discover America. We don't need to dampen or remove achievements just because he was a dick. The nazis discovered hypothermia treatments by subjecting people to extreme cold. Yeah it sucks but they still discovered it.

    February 9, 2024 at 5:41 pm

It’s weird yt people love this man because he wanted to get accepted by the KKK and became friends I guess with one. While black people give him a side eye . Fascinating

  27. @DLC1990

    February 12, 2024 at 7:59 am

Cant say i agree with chris columbus not discovering america.

He DID discover it, its just that there were people that just happened to live on it.

We wouldnt say that we didnt discover a new planet just because there was life already on it?

  28. @UltraSaltyDomer1776

    February 16, 2024 at 7:47 am

Makes sense this guy is base. He is asking whites to look through their ideology and get past the prejudices they have. Why would he fall for the flip of it when it comes to black supremacy. That’s what blm and all the other black race grifting leads to.

  29. @SteepFuse

    February 17, 2024 at 9:23 am

“Im pretty sure it says indigenous peoples day, maybe im wrong. But it should!” “It Should” and it does! Props to both of them!

No but Martin Luther King which isn't even his real name was supporter of Communist organizations and cheated and lied constantly (I have a dream) speech was not written by him it was written by Stanley Levison.

    March 5, 2024 at 9:05 pm

"black women aren't beautiful?" as an ignorant white male, i can tell you they are the most beautiful. that makes me a racist probably. i don't care.

  33. @TheDylls

    March 10, 2024 at 6:26 am

White dude here: I see Black History Month as essentially the same as See No Colour…

We needed to make some anti-racist stuff OVERTLY public before enough people were kinda like "Yaaaa, I get it… Whatever, I won't say the N word in public anymore." 😂😂😂

    They were overcorrections!

But when your car starts to skid? You freak out, swerve the other way too far, then back the other way, etc

But you're always getting closer to "driving true"

  34. @jermainerobinson3729

    March 28, 2024 at 6:52 pm

I disagree because Martin Luther King Jr aka Mark Luther King Sir changed both of there names and he has had cheated on his wife with hoes and has paid for them 50 bucks and doing things with guys and no talks about he is a known Communist man mlk is not who he is seems

  35. @capoman1

    April 9, 2024 at 3:45 am

John Wayne had a good position on this, you can find it on youtube. He said THE HYPHENATED AMERICAN will divide us as a people, that we'll grow more separated when we refer to ourselves for instance as hispanic Americans or African Americans… We're just Americans.

  36. @BrokenOwen

    May 7, 2024 at 8:39 pm

I agree with almost everything except for Obama. For Obama and a number of other presidents I'd like to have a worst presidents in history month. That asshole set us back (in terms of racial relations) 40 or 50 years.

Another form of advancing would be getting rid of the of the ridiculous term 'African-American'. Having been born in America = being American. I am not Irish-American because that's where my great-great-ancestors came from. I was born in America, I am an American.

Postmodernism and Its Impact, Explained.

Published

Helen Pluckrose outlines some of the arguments later explored in depth in her bestselling 2020 book, Cynical Theories (co-authored with James Lindsay). The essay charts the pernicious influence of postmodernist thinking on two generations of academics and activists. If you want to understand how we got to a place where microaggressions are denounced as violence but the brutal terrorism of an intifada is considered righteous, this is an important primer.

Iona Italia reads Helen Pluckrose’s essay published in Quillette: https://quillette.com/2024/05/07/how-french-intellectuals-ruined-the-west-foucault-lyotard-derrida/
