"possibility", as well as the possibility of chinese, vikings, Polynesians, and even phoenicians landing on the landmass that would eventually become America in 1776… neither Columbus or any of these discovered "America". and should be remembered for their voyages not finding america.

Thats why little ancient history is taught in public schools. True history and gerneral education was suppressed for a couple of centuries during the days of slavery. What better way to take credit for everything that to simply hide the true history and destroy many artifacts related to the truth. All great nations and empires have done this wicked act and every single one have come tumbling down and that pattern will continue nonstop until human beings get it in their thick skulls that we are all in this together.

Postmodernism and Its Impact, Explained.

Published

Helen Pluckrose outlines some of the arguments later explored in depth in her bestselling 2020 book, Cynical Theories (co-authored with James Lindsay). The essay charts the pernicious influence of postmodernist thinking on two generations of academics and activists. If you want to understand how we got to a place where microaggressions are denounced as violence but the brutal terrorism of an intifada is considered righteous, this is an important primer.

Iona Italia reads Helen Pluckrose’s essay published in Quillette: https://quillette.com/2024/05/07/how-french-intellectuals-ruined-the-west-foucault-lyotard-derrida/
