Resident Alien fans have fallen in love with their dark sci-fi comedy starring Alan Tudyk. Now the show has been renewed for a fourth season, and is shifting homes from Syfy network to USA. The reason for the shift? Well, the suits behind the idea wanted to expose the show to a broader audience, as USA Network tends to have a bit more reach than Syfy. Resident Alien has also recently gotten an awareness boost from Netflix picking up its first two seasons earlier this year.

Resident Alien stars Alan Tudyk as a crash-landed alien named Harry who tries to blend in with humans in a small Colorado town while hiding his secret mission to destroy humanity. The most recent, third season averaged 3.3 million total viewers across all platforms the show played on.

Resident Alien also stars Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, Levi Fiehler, Elizabeth Bowen, Judah Prehn and Meredith Garretson. The show was adapted by the Dark Horse comic series by by executive producer Chris Sheridan, who has served as showrunner since the launch of the show and remains at the helm for the upcoming fourth season.
