HRS, Amadeus Partnership Adds More Capabilities to Cytric

HRS has expanded its partnership with Amadeus to incorporate some of its technology capabilities around hotel booking, sustainability and payment into the Cytric platform, the companies announced.

On the booking side, HRS is providing Amadeus with machine-learning technology to monitor rates—including net rates not listed in global distribution systems—availability and amenities at preferred properties to validate that the correct rates and amenities are being displayed to travelers in Cytric. Amadeus also is incorporating HRS rebooking technology so that hotels booked in Cytric automatically are rebooked if the price of the room booked drops, with travelers notified by email of the rebooking.

Additionally, Amadeus is incorporating HRS’ Green Stay Initiative into Cytric, with properties that have more sustainable operations highlighted by a label in the platform. The initiative also enables customers to prioritize preferred eco-friendly hotels in booking displays via a customizable scorecard.

The extended agreement includes the integration of Cytric and HRS Pay as well, which will include automated payment and invoice collection capabilities.

“This collaboration brings immense value to our mutual customers,” HRS CEO Tobias Ragge said in a statement. “By unlocking new data-infused avenues to optimize program performance, maximize savings and enhance sustainable travel operations, we’re working together to make business life better for corporations and their travelers.”
