Travel management company Gant Travel Management has named former Vindow and Amadeus executive Victor Pynn its chief operating officer, the company announced Wednesday.

Pynn’s appointment was effective June 3, according to Gant.

Pynn for more than 20 years has held executive positions at travel technology companies, including stints as COO of each Amadeus North America and TRX. Most recently, Pynn co-founded Aimendo, a natural-language parsing system for agency productivity and workflow automation, and served as CEO of Vindow, an accommodation management platform.

Gant has been a client of both Vindow and Aimendo, according to BTN portfolio mate The Beat.

Gant in a statement said that “Pynn’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Gant Travel as we continue to expand our capabilities and market reach. His expertise in leadership development, M&A strategies, and business transformation will play a crucial role in shaping our company’s future.”

Gant’s most recent COO, Kurt Mosher, left the company in April, according to his LinkedIn page. He had been with the company for more than 10 years.

Vindow has not announced any plans to replace Pynn as CEO, and a spokesperson didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
