Today we are in the midst of the worst public health crisis in a generation. The pandemic that we are currently experiencing across the world is affection thousands, however how did people in the past deal with illness?

The Medieval period is famous for brutal executions, and has a reputation for people throwing excrement out the windows and poor public health. However how did they deal with illnesses or diseases such as The Black Death? Join us for a journey of bloodletting, purging, astrology, apothecaries and some downright bizarre cures!
